Southern College was established in 1990 owing to the generous support from the communities.
It is the first non-profit community college in the country wholly funded by public donation and is open to Malaysian and International students of all races.
Southern College has over twenty years of experience in education. The tranquil environment of the campus is ideal for students to concentrate on their studies as it is set in a quiet location in a rapidly expanding part of Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Full internet access is available throughout the college premises. The college offers all the facilities required by a modern-day educational establishment with fully equipped lecture rooms and a well stocked library. Besides, dedicated team of qualified lecturers and administration staff are there to ensure students to be fully supported in their studies.
Southern College’s School of Tourism and Hospitality (STH), which was established 6 years ago with the purpose of providing a high quality and standard of Tourism and Hospitality Management Program. The program takes a professional and practical approach in developing students with the necessary knowledge and skills. Upon completion of the program, the students are expected to be able to apply the best practices in the tourism industry.
