CTH’s Level 5 Diploma in Hospitality Management Gains Local Approval in Hong Kong

CTH is pleased to inform that our Level 5 Diploma in Hospitality Management qualification has now gained full approval by the Registrar of Non-Local Higher and Professional Education Courses in Hong Kong.

The Education Bureau is responsible for:

  • Formulating, developing and reviewing policies, programmes and legislation in respect of education from pre-primary to tertiary level.
  • Overseeing the effective implementation of educational programmes.

The Bureau monitors the services provided by:

  • The University Grants Committee, the Student Financial Assistance Agency, the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications and the Vocational Training Council.

Hong Kong Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management was established under the Societies Registration Ordinance, established as a non-profit, with an internship focus for students. The Institute has a strong network of hotels and tourism organisations to facilitate student placements. Further students regularly participate in key industry seminars and exchanges, to enable students to gain up to date the latest industry information as well as understand emerging trends.
