Overview
There are four grades of membership of CTH, each indicating a level of personal career achievement within the hospitality or tourism indstries.
Student Member (SMCTH) - This classification is for those who have enrolled on a CTH course at a registered centre. All students studying the Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma are required to become student members of CTH.
Associate Member (AMCTH) - Applicants must have completed the Advanced Diploma qualification or must be studying at Postgraduate Diploma level OR possess over 5 years’ relevant supervisory level work experience to apply to become an AMCTH.
Professional Member (PMCTH) - Applicants must have completed have completed the Postgraduate Diploma and have shown evidence of an ongoing commitment to Continuing Professional Development for a period of two years OR possess over ten years’ relevant managerial level work experience.
Fellow (FCTH) - Awarded at the discretion of the Confederation to those who have achieved positions of significant responsibility in the industry, or who have made notable contributions to the work of the Confederation.
