Overview

 

The CTH Diploma and Advanced Diploma offer equivalency to the first and second year of a British university degree. Graduates of these programmes typically aspire to trainee management roles or direct entry to the final stages of a university Bachelor’s degree.

 
Programme Options

Students have two routes as described below:

 

> Route 1 - Undergraduate Tourism Management:
 
Designed to prepare students for careers in all aspects of this vast and varied industry, from commercial tour operations to governmental overview of national tourism activity.
 
> Route 2 - Undergraduate Hotel Management:
 
Designed to prepare students for careers in hotel management, from small family-run operations to major international hotel groups.

  

 

Endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality

 

CTH Management Programmes have been awarded the Institute of Hospitality Endorsement. All students on CTH Diploma programmes are eligible for Affiliate Membership of the Institute of Hospitality and they are also eligible to receive a free membership under their Affiliate Membership scheme. Students who successfully complete the CTH Advanced Diploma programmes are eligible to apply for Associate Membership.

 

Endorsed by John Adair, Adair Leadership Development

 

John Adair is one of the world’s foremost authorities on leadership and leadership development. He was the world’s first Professor of Leadership Studies when he took up the post at Surrey University in 1979. In 2009, John was appointed Chair of Leadership Studies for the United Nations. John says "I consider that the qualifications offered by the CTH are up to date and meet their objective of enhancing the leadership capabilities of hospitality, tourism and travel professionals worldwide".
