
Level 2 Diploma (or Extended Diploma) in Cruise Hospitality Services
Diploma level programmes designed to provide students with the essential skills for their first job in the cruise or superyacht hospitality sector.
Programme Overview
These unique qualifications are designed to provide an introduction to the basic skills required in the cruise or superyacht hospitality industry, including customer service, restaurant services and communication.
It will teach learners the theoretical and practical skills in cruise hospitality services, in particular, the key functions of the food and beverage and Housekeeping functions.
The programme will enable students to be able to apply for entry-level jobs in the cruise hospitality services and hospitality industries. It is also a potential platform for a student to progress on to further and higher education qualifications, if desired.
Entry Requirements
Minimum age 16 at enrolment. This is an open access qualification, however all students should have completed full time secondary education up to age 16. All students must have reasonable English fluency (to IELTS 4.5 standard or equivalent). Assessment is by examination, assignment and work-based assessment.
