Programme Overview
The responsibility of food businesses in the UK and elsewhere, is to maintain a level of food safety and hygiene standards; with this qualification, learners are introduced to fundamental skills needed to work with food in a safe and hygienic way.
As learners progress through the course, they begin to improve their risk assessment skills and gain a clearer understanding of how to manage food during every process, at the level required in a professional cooking environment.
The techniques and experience gained through this qualification, not only add to a learners existing skill set but also gives them the opportunity to stand out and increase their chances of employment.
Entry Requirements
This Level 2 programme is open access although applicants should be over 16, have completed secondary education and have some English fluency.
