We are delighted to announce a new progression opportunity for CTH students. Holders of the CTH Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Tourism Management can now apply to enter the Final Year (Top-Up) of the Swansea University Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Global Business Management.

This new pathway offers CTH students an exciting opportunity to extend their studies at a highly respected UK university while gaining valuable international experience. It represents an excellent option for students seeking to broaden their academic horizons, enhance their career mobility and study in a welcoming, multicultural environment.

The pathway was pioneered by long-standing CTH Centre Finn School of Business & Tourism, based in Bangkok, which has for many years enabled Thai students to progress from CTH qualifications to degree programmes at leading international universities - especially in the UK. This successful collaboration has now been formalised, meaning the same opportunity is available to CTH students worldwide who successfully complete the Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Tourism Management.

Reflecting on the partnership, Tom Neaves, Swansea University’s International Recruitment Manager for East & Southeast Asia, commented:

Swansea University is a research-led university that has been making a difference since 1920. The University community thrives on exploration and discovery, and offers the right balance of excellent teaching and research, matched by an enviable quality of life. Our stunning waterfront campuses make us a desirable location for students and staff from around the world, and our multicultural community provides a global perspective, enabling those who join us to develop skills and knowledge that set them on successful and enriching careers.

This development marks another milestone in CTH’s ongoing mission to create high-quality international study pathways that empower students to achieve their academic and professional ambitions across the globe.
