Level 4 Diploma in Professional Bar Management

An advanced bartending qualification, aimed at equipping learners with the key principles and skills needed to run a bar efficiently.

Programme Overview

The Level 4 Diploma in Professional Bar Management has been developed in partnership with some of the world’s top drinks brands and experienced industry professionals. The programme aims to build on the skills developed in the Level 2 Certificate in Professional Bartending Skills by introducing learners to the skills and knowledge required to effectively manage a bar.

Throughout the qualification, participants learn a number of essential responsibilities, practices and approaches needed to supervise a highly productive bar environment. For example, the Financial Business Management unit provides learners with an understanding of the fixed and variable costs associated with running a bar.

This qualification is the perfect seal of approval for bar supervisors and staff with aspirations to take a step up in their career - the six constituent units that make up this programme provide the platform needed to attain a management role. This diploma-level qualification represents a dedication to the craft that managers really aspire to, in order to excel in the industry.

Upon the successful completion of this programme, graduates have the option of progressing further in their pursuit of management skills and qualifications by studying the CTH (IoH) Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Hospitality Management.
