Level 2 Certificate in Professional Bartending Skills

This certificate-level programme is designed to equip learners with the essential bartending skills necessary to perform the role and is an ideal entry point for learners starting out in the Food and Beverage sector.

Programme Overview

The Level 2 Certificate in Professional Bartending Skills has been developed in partnership with some of the world’s top drinks brands and experienced industry professionals. The programme aims to familiarise students with the constituents and make up of a wide variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, as well as the practices necessary to maintain a safe and well-presented bar.

In addition, learners will be taught how to ensure customers are well-cared for so that their experience is both enjoyable and relaxing.

Whether working in a prestigious rooftop bar, restaurant, nightclub, cruise ship or pub, this programme is designed to provide a firm foundation for a distinguished career in bartending. On completion of this qualification, graduates may progress in their career or, with suitable experience, continue to further study on the CTH Level 4 Diploma in Professional Bar Management.

Entry Requirements

The Level 2 programme is open access with no entry requirements other than a reasonable command of English.
