‘Coventry University College draws on the excellence in teaching and learning and the extensive experience of Coventry University. It will however, operate independently from the University, as a separate organisation, in its own building and with its own staff; all based on the Coventry University campus. Coventry University College is designed for people who want to benefit from high-quality courses but who have decided that the traditional student experience is not for them.
Coventry University College offers a range of study programmes to achieve academic qualifications in a variety of subject areas. The HNCs, HNDs and Honours Degree courses, so you can choose to sign up for a degree at the outset or build up to a degree by taking the HNC, then HND and then top up to a degree. By taking one level at a time, you can spread your progression over a fixed period to fit in with your other commitments.
Our Foundation Year courses are ideal for those who need or want an alternative route into higher education. Once successfully completed, the foundation year will provide a route into a range of further study within Coventry University College or progression to courses at Coventry University or another university of your choice, subject to meeting relevant entry requirements.
All of our courses have been designed around the standards for professional body accreditation, which means that you will be prepared and have the opportunity to secure an additional award from a professional body alongside your normal studies. Modules in the Strategic Tourism and Hospitality Management BA (Hons) include units based on the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH) level 6 Graduate Diploma. Upon successful completion of these elements, students will have the opportunity to complete this additional qualification. This is not, however, a condition of academic credit: assessments for the professional qualification are independent from those undertaken for the academic award.
On top of these academic courses that are available to you, we also run stand-alone professional qualifications. Professional qualifications are recognised as not only providing an individual with industry-specific skills but also as a demonstration of their commitment to continuous learning and development.

Each block of learning offers you the chance to achieve a set of professional skills that are valued by employers and to develop your academic knowledge too.
