Fifty Shades Greener (FSG) and the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH) have joined forces to create the first Level 4 Certificate in Environmental Sustainability Management in Hospitality.

This new programme will ensure that hospitality managers are taught how to reduce company-wide waste, which can ultimately lead to lower carbon emissions and a reduced utility bill. The qualification is the first of its kind to be regulated as an official qualification on the Ofqual framework, which ensures that the delivery and assessment of this programme is of the upmost quality, benefiting managers across the sector.

FSG is an environmental education company based in Ireland working with hospitality businesses worldwide through their online programmes: The Green Business and The Green Manager. Founded in 2018 by Raquel Noboa, FSG students have achieved a reduction of 30% in energy & water use and 40% in waste by upskilling all members of an organisation on how to change their behaviour to become resource efficient.
